The project

A ground-up flagship campus for a multi-brand auto group: a two-story glass showroom, a 32-bay service and quick-lube building, parts warehouse, and full-site EV charging infrastructure — delivered design-build under a manufacturer image-program deadline.

What made it work

Design-build against a factory clock. Manufacturer image programs are unforgiving: brand-standard materials, factory-approved details, and hard compliance dates. EWB ran design-assist from schematic design, locking long-lead façade and glazing packages before permits issued.

EV-ready from the slab up. Conduit, switchgear capacity, and transformer pads for 24 charging positions went in with the foundations — not as a retrofit — saving the owner an estimated seven figures against a phase-two trenching approach.

Service bays first. Sequencing put the service building ahead of the showroom, letting the dealer’s fixed-ops revenue start four months before the showroom ribbon-cutting.

Outcome

Factory image-compliance sign-off achieved on first inspection. Campus opened on the announced date.
