Express Car Wash Rollout — 6 Sites
Six ground-up express car wash sites across Idaho and Utah in twenty months — a repeatable prototype delivered at a per-site pace the operator's previous contractor couldn't match.
Client: Express Car Wash Operator · Location: Idaho & Utah
The program
Six ground-up express car wash sites — tunnel building, vacuum canopies, pay stations, and full sitework — across the Boise metro and Wasatch Front for a fast-scaling operator.
How rollouts reward a platform
Prototype discipline. One set of shop drawings, one equipment vendor relationship, one inspection playbook — refined at site one and reused five times. Per-site duration dropped from 8.5 months to just over 6 by the final site.
Licensed where the growth is. EWB’s direct licenses in Idaho and Utah meant no joint-venture overhead and no waiting on reciprocity paperwork while pads sat ready.
Equipment-vendor choreography. Tunnel equipment setting is the critical path of every wash build. EWB sequenced building dry-in around the vendor’s install windows rather than the other way around.
Outcome
All six sites open. The operator has optioned four more pads in the same markets.
Representative case study — project details generalized pending client publication approval. Figures reflect a real EWB program profile.
